Community Foundation Scholarship Awards
The Community Foundation Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients –
Gavin Ashby, a senior at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, is a recipient of the Dr. Albert O. Miller Scholarship. Gavin plans to study Human Life Science at Indiana University East. He is the son of Jena Ashby and Shannon Ashby.
Caton Clark, a senior at Yorktown High School, is a recipient of the Arthur D. and Josephine M. Robling Scholarship. Caton plans to study Secondary Education at Indiana University. She is the daughter of Carie Bronnenberg and Christon Clark.
Anna Gu, a senior at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities, is a recipient of the Charles W. and Jane (Klipsch) Thomas Scholarship. Anna plans to study Finance with a minor in Economics at the University of Notre Dame. She is the daughter of Qiannong Gu and Ying He.
Andrea Mae, a student at Ball State University, is a recipient of the Janice Paige Hughes Scholarship. Andrea studies Special Education - Intense Intervention.
Jonathan Price, a student at Ball State University, is a recipient of the Patricia K. and Franklyn D. Brinkman, Sr. Nursing Scholarship. Jonathan studies Nursing with a minor in Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is the son of Jon Price and Desiree Price.
Braisen Rainwaters, a senior at Wapahani High School, is a recipient of the Sue Harris Unsung Hero Scholarship. Braisen plans to study Sports Management at Ball State University. He is the son of Kristina Rainwaters and Brian Rainwaters.
Guinevere Robertson, a senior at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities, is a recipient of the Arthur D. and Josephine M. Robling Scholarship. Guin plans to study Nursing at Indiana University. She is the daughter of Alexis Robertson and Ian Robertson.
Ryder Turner, a senior at Delta High School, is a recipient of the Tom Devine Memorial Scholarship. Ryder plans to study Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Indiana University. He is the son of Nicole Turner and Jeremy Turner.

The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. encourages philanthropy, assists donors in building an enduring source of charitable assets, and exercises leadership in directing resources to enhance the quality of life for residents of Muncie and Delaware County. Since 1985, community members and businesses have helped the Foundation grow our endowment to $83 million. Using the earnings on the endowment, the Foundation distributes grants to nonprofit organizations, including scholarships to support students through post-secondary education. To date, the Foundation has awarded nearly $65 million to enhance the quality of life of the residents of Muncie and Delaware County.
