Community Foundation Scholarship Awards
The Community Foundation Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients –
Olivia Gick, a senior at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, is a recipient of the Max V. and Nellie Cathrine Creviston Scholarship. Olivia plans to study Nursing with a minor in Art at Ball State University. She is the daughter of Jeremy Gick and Kristin Gick.
Maggie Haney, a senior at Monroe Central High School, is a recipient of the Jenny Haskell Memorial Scholarship. Maggie plans to study Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a Spanish minor at Indiana University. She is the daughter of Matt and Krista Haney.
Lucia Hart, a senior at Burris Laboratory School, is a recipient of the Arthur D. and Josephine M. Robling Scholarship. Lucia plans to study Social Work with minors in Criminal Justice and Ministry Studies at Marian University. She is the daughter of Jason and Maria Hart.
John Hochstetler, a senior at Monroe Central High School, is a recipient of the Jenny Haskell Memorial Scholarship.
Taj Isom, a senior at Muncie Central High School, is a recipient of the Dylan T. Stafford We Before Me Scholarship.
Masun Moore, a senior at Muncie Central High School, is a recipient of the Muncie Southside Spirit Scholarship. Masun plans to study Economics with a minor in Business at Wabash College. He is the son of Kimberlee Moore.
Emily Pressnall, a senior at Heritage Hall Christian School, is a recipient of the Arthur D. and Josephine M. Robling Scholarship.
Alexis Randle, a student at Ball State University, is a recipient of the J. Burgess Memorial Scholarship.
Hayley Reece, a senior at Yorktown High School, is a recipient of the Robert and Wanda McKibben Scholarship. Hayley plans to study Biology (Zoology) at Ball State University. She is the daughter of David and Natalie Reece.
Caidence Ryan, a student at Ball State University, is a recipient of the Wilfred Wingate Scholarship.
Ja’Niya Smith, a senior at Muncie Central High School, is a recipient of the Adam Cline Scholarship. Ja’Niya plans to study Business at Indiana University Indianapolis. She is the daughter of Tameka Benford.
Sicily Toole, a student at Ball State University, is a recipient of the E.A. and E.E. Burgess Memorial Scholarship. Sicily studies Nutrition and Dietetics.
Evan Zachary, a student at Ball State University, is a recipient of the George and Nelda Van Laningham Scholarship.

The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County, Inc. encourages philanthropy, assists donors in building an enduring source of charitable assets, and exercises leadership in directing resources to enhance the quality of life for residents of Muncie and Delaware County. Since 1985, community members and businesses have helped the Foundation grow our endowment to $83 million. Using the earnings on the endowment, the Foundation distributes grants to nonprofit organizations, including scholarships to support students through post-secondary education. To date, the Foundation has awarded nearly $65 million to enhance the quality of life of the residents of Muncie and Delaware County.
