Michael Lunsford is the recipient of the 2025 David Sursa Leadership award for his serve to the YMCA of Muncie.
$450K Awarded to Community Organizations
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $455,550 in Community Grants to 24 community organizations during the second quarter of 2025. Classroom Connections of ECI received $11,000 to support their mission to provide essential classroom tools to teachers and students, ensuring teachers can teach and learners can learn. 2025 Sursa Leadership Award Finalists
The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County recognizes the following finalists for the 2025 David Sursa Leadership Award: Keith Doudt, Urban Light Community Development Corporation; Brad King, Muncie Land Bank; Michael Lunsford, YMCA of Muncie; and Kim Miller, Muncie Arts and Culture Council.
