2022 Philanthropic Snapshot
Muncie and Delaware County is an incredibly philanthropic community. Local funders and foundations desire to strengthen this community and make a large-scale collective impact. In 2022, more than $27 million was invested in Delaware County through local philanthropic organizations.
We believe this is an important message to share! As such, The Community Foundation, as convener of The Funders Forum Collaborative, has put together a Philanthropic Snapshot to share the extensive list of community funders and their grantmaking in 2022. Since 1997, the Funders Forum has convened to discuss community issues and hear from nonprofit organizations. In 2017, the group evolved to include collaborative grantmaking and has awarded more than $490,000 from the Funders Forum Fund held at The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County.
