Foundation to Relocate Effective December 5

The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County will have a new address beginning later this month. The Foundation offices will move from their home in the Muncie Power Products building to a building acquired earlier this year located at 302 E. Jackson St.

To accommodate the move, Foundation staff will be available only by phone and email from Monday, November 21, through Friday, December 2. The Foundation will welcome guests to the new offices beginning Monday, December 5. The Foundation asks that early visitors kindly pardon any mess as finishing touches to the renovated space will continue after the move.

During the move period, Foundation staff will be available by phone at 765.747.7181 or by email at commfound@cfmdin.org. Mail can continue to be directed to The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County at PO Box 807, Muncie, IN 47308.

A public open house is being planned for early summer 2023.

Dates to Note

Monday, November 21 through Friday, December 2, 2022 - Foundation staff are available only by phone and email only. The Foundation offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Monday, December 19, and Tuesday, December 20 - Foundation offices will be closed to visitors to accommodate the move of a tenant into the building. Staff will be able by phone, email, and offsite meetings as needed.
Friday, December 23, and Monday, December 26 - Foundation offices will be closed for the Christmas Holiday.
Friday, December 30 - The Foundation offices will be open until 4:30 p.m. to accept walk-in gifts. Walk-in gifts must be received before close-of-business on December 30 and mailed gifts must be postmarked by December 31 to be receipted as 2022 giving.
