Investing in Yorktown

The Yorktown Farmers Market, along with its educational arm, Grow Market Inc., upgraded their technology through support from a 2022 grant from the Town of Yorktown Endowment Fund.

The Town of Yorktown Endowment Fund was established in 2000 with a gift from Howard Gregory. Since then, community members have added to the fund helping it to grow. The Town of Yorktown Endowment Fund provides annual grants to deserving nonprofit organizations in Yorktown.

Since 2009, the Town of Yorktown Endowment Fund has awarded over $45,000 in grants and supported organizations and programs across the community, including the Yorktown Public Library, Historical Alliance, the Band Boosters, and community events like Four For the Fourth and the Luminary Festival.
