The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $249,100 in Community Grants during the third quarter of 2023.

The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded $340,000 in Community Grants during the second quarter of 2023, including a $25,000 grant to Project Leadership to support the cost of operations. A similar grant last year supported programs, including Scholar Success Program labs at Muncie Central, pictured.

Three local teachers were awarded grants totaling $1,693.29 from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County in April through the Robert P. Bell Education Grants Program.

Grants totaling $264,953 were awarded from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County to benefit the community between November and December 2022.

Public, private, and corporate foundations, along with service club funders in Delaware County, have come together to pool knowledge, experiences, and resources to collectively impact homeownership in the community.

Grants totaling $380,809 were awarded to benefit the community between September and October 2022. Grants totaling $823,084 were awarded from The Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County to benefit the community between March and May 2022. Most grants are awarded through permanently endowed funds that benefit our community today and always.

Teachers from 13 local schools received 29 Robert P. Bell Education Grants this school year. More than $14,468 supported the learning of more than 2,300 young people.
